Join us in supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities here in the Hudson Valley and beyond!
The Rhythmic Arts Project (TRAP) is a nonprofit program that uses drumming and percussion as learning tools to help people with disabilities develop important life skills. Rhythm and drumming can be powerful tools for learning and personal development for people with challenges.
The Rhythmic Arts Project empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by using rhythm and percussion instruments as educational tools. The program supports children, adults, and seniors by helping improve cognitive, emotional, and physical abilities. Through drumming-based activities, participants build life skills while engaging the mind, body, and spirit.
TRAP offers community workshops, on-site programs, and online training to teach practical tools for success.
Our Senior TRAP Class is for typical seniors. Sharp, intelligent, fun people who want more than Bingo at their Senior Centers.
