The eldest son of the late, great Chicago Harmonica player Paul Butterfield, the first white Harmonica player to develop a style original and powerful enough to place him in the pantheon of Blues greats. Gabriel Butterfield grew up on the road, on tour with his father; the music is literally in his blood. Like his father, music is the driving passion of Gabriel's life.  In 2012, again residing in Woodstock, New York, Gabriel launched multiple projects, a documentary film on Paul Butterfield, and a working band that celebrates his father's music.
