Percussionist Juma Sultan shot to international fame when he stepped onto to stage of the 1969 Woodstock Festival as a member of Jimi Hendrix’s Gypsy Sun & Rainbows. At The Falcon he will be presenting his nine-piece group, Aboriginal Music Society in an exploration of spirit grounded in sound.
The saxophone player of choice for famous artists such as Gregg Allman, Little Feat, (the late) Levon Helm, and Steely Dan’s Donald Fagen, Jay Collins presents a special evening with a special ensemble of world class players.

The Brighton Beat is a unique and engaging spectacle, whose influences range from Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, to modern cutting-edge NYC Jazz with a heavy helping of classic New Orleans brass band Funk. Performing up and down the East coast since 2010, the band has developed a style of performance that is incredibly uplifting and infectiously danceable - a trademark of The Brighton Beat sound.
