For well over a decade, Don Byron has been a singular voice in an astounding range of musical contexts, exploring widely divergent traditions while continually striving for what he calls "a sound above genre." As clarinetist, saxophonist, composer, arranger, and social critic, he redefines every genre of music he plays, be it classical, salsa, hip-hop, funk, rhythm & blues, klezmer, or any jazz style from swing and bop to cutting-edge downtown improvisation.
David Amram has been described as "the Renaissance man of American music." He has composed over 100 orchestral and chamber works, written two operas, and many scores for theatre and films. He has collaborated with such notables as Leonard Bernstein, Dizzy Gillespie, Dustin Hoffman, Charlie Mingus, Elia Kazan, Odetta, Jack Kerouac, Betty Carter, Tito Puente & many more!
The Brighton Beat is a unique and engaging spectacle, whose influences range from Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, to modern cutting-edge NYC Jazz with a heavy helping of classic New Orleans brass band Funk. Performing up and down the East coast since 2010, the band has developed a style of performance that is incredibly uplifting and infectiously danceable - a trademark of The Brighton Beat sound.

The soundtrack introduced jazz with grace, charm, and creativity, to an entirely new generation, having been heard by more individuals than the work of the genre's most influential players, and influenced dozens of young aspiring musicians.
Under the direction of Geoff Vidal, the 17-piece Analog Jazz Orchestra brings together the seasoned veterans of the West Point Jazz Knights, the Count Basie Big Band & more. With a commitment to original jazz compositions in an improvisational environment, these players shine while creating "Big Sound" musical moments for their audiences.
