Professor Louie & The Crowmatix w/ The Woodstock Horns
A night of rompin’ stompin’ roots rock, roadhouse blues, sweet ballads and original tunes, and the music of The Band, with Roots Music Royalty!
Professor Louie has emerged in the music industry as the torchbearer of the true spirit of American Roots music. Seasoned live performer, prolific recording artist and versatile multi-instrumentalist Professor Louie also wears the hat of award-winning recording producer and engineer, capturing the talents of some of the world’s most highly acclaimed musicians, most notably, The Band.
Grammy Nominated Professor Louie & The Crowmatix began as the studio backing band for Aaron “Professor Louie’s” musical productions for The Band. Rick Danko christened him Professor Louie and he collaborated with them for over 17 Years.
In 2019, their Songs Of Inspiration CD was released on The Woodstock Records label. Professor Louie & The Crowmatix have released 14 CDs and maintain a steady performance schedule of over 150 live dates a year.
Professor Louie & The Crowmatix have been inducted into Blues Hall Of Fame, New York Chapter and hold a permanent place in The Canada South Blues Museum.
Professor Louie (Keys-Vocals) performed on and produced The Band's comeback hit “Atlantic City”. He collaborated with The Rock 'n Roll Hall Of Fame group The Band for over 16 years, and produced their last three Band albums, as well as solo CD’s by Rick Danko, Levon Helm and Garth Hudson.
John Platania (Guitar-Vocals) is best known for his great performances with Van Morrison for over thirty years, a collaboration that created hits such as Domino.
Gary Burke (Drums) One of the finest drummers to have performed with Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Review. Gary recorded and toured extensively with Joe Jackson.
Miss Marie (Vocals-Percussionist-Keys) has performed and recorded with Levon Helm, Rick Danko,Garth Hudson among others. Marie has composed many of The Crowmatix original songs.
Frank Campbell (Bass-Vocals) Acted as Levon Helm’s music director with the Woodstock All-Stars, touring the country. Frank has also performed with Steve Forbert on tour.

Diana DeMuth is a powerful young singer-songwriter from the Massachusetts coast. She has just released her debut single “Hotel Song” and is currently working on her debut album with visionary multi-platinum record producers/arrangers Simone Felice and David Baron (The Lumineers, Jade Bird, Vance Joy, Bat For Lashes, Noah Kahan, Phoebe Bridgers, Felice Brothers, Sean Mendez, Conor Oberst, Matt Maeson). Diana's next single, "Rose of Nantucket" was released in January.
