The quintessential contemporary jazzman, saxophonist David Liebman "offers thanks to Trane, Miles and Ornette". He spent his whole career playing with some of the best in the business. He spent extensive periods as a member of the Miles Davis and Elvin Jones groups. Since 1970 he as been associated as a leader with a succession of extraordinary groups from Open Sky Trio to Lookout Farm to Quest each of which has framed a distinct phase of his musical evolution. Dave Liebman's band pursues a very eclectic contemporary style where each member brings forth a wide range of talents, enabling the music to move in many exciting directions.

23 year old bassist/composer Michael Feinberg is quickly becoming one of the most in-demand bassists in New York. Since moving to the city in the summer of 2009, Feinberg has already shared the stage with luminaries such as George Garzone, Slide Hampton, Russell Gunn, Dave Samuels, Ian Froman, Dave Pietro, Ira Sullivan, Greg Gisbert, Ted Nash, Orrin Evans, Jonathan Kreisberg, Jim Black, Andrew D’angelo, Peter Evans, Ambrose Akinmusire, Sam Barsh, and Bobby Broom among others. Michael has released 2 albums as a leader to critical acclaim and is in the process of recording a third featuring the best young jazz musicians in the country: Noah Preminger, Godwin Louis, Julian Shore, Alex WIntz, and Daniel Platzman. Michael is the recipient of many awards and honors among them, a 2010 Downbeat student award, residency at the 2008 Betty Carter Jazz Ahead, official artist of the 2010 South by Southwest music festival, and semi finalist in the 2007 International songwriting competition.
