Opening Act :: Dziubecko
Falcon Arts Center

Dziubecko are a recently formed project comprised of two very good old friends.

Mark Dziuba, director of Jazz Studies at SUNY New Paltz, has been an in-demand guitarist/clinician for over 30 years. Spanning genres from blues to jazz to good old rock 'n'roll, Dziuba is an expressive improviser, as well as a unique composer and supportive accompanist.

Sara Jecko's guitar playing and composing spans multiple genres but is deeply rooted in R&B, Jazz and Rock. Jecko's vocal ability allows her to expressively cross different styles with an ease rarely heard in singers.

Together Dziubecko (Ju-Beck-Oh) offer an eclectic repertoire ( think Beatles to Brubeck; Muddy to Miles; Dziuba to Jecko), featuring innovative arrangements of familiar tunes and original compositions.

Doors open 6pm, Opening Act 7pm, Headliner 8pm.
