Richard Lloyd participated in Television’s 1990s and early-2000s reunion shows, and has toured as a solo act.

Lloyd's turbulent career and early experiences with Jimi Hendrix and the Grateful Dead in his 2017 memoir, Everything Is Combustible, was released in paperback. He also continues to be an inspiration to younger musicians like Jeff Tweedy—“One year, his wife Susan called me up and flew me into Chicago to give him a guitar lesson, which lasted all day,” he admits—and continues to create at home in Chattanooga, Tenn. “You can change the past in the now. It’s about perception.”

Opening Act: John Berenzy

John Berenzy is a New York singer songwriter with an emphasis on the guitar. He got his start with Blues Project guitarist Danny Kalb . They toured the south and Midwest with Eric Burdon and Animals and had two cuts on a Columbia Records Compendium that also featured Eric Clapton and Cream , BB King , Johnny Winter and Bo Diddley. From there he played on the CBGB scene along side Television, Patti Smith and Mink Deville . John would later tour Europe with Willie Deville taking over the Mark Knopfler spot on Willy’s Miracle Tour . John’s groundbreaking. 1977 single, Vice Verses was just included on a Cherry Red Records ( London),multi CD called  Blank Generation with Patti Smith, ,Television,The Ramones , New York Dolls and Blondie. He has issued eight CD’s under his own name recruiting Ron Carter, Garth Hudson, Graham Parker , Fernando Saunders ,Crispin Cio and Buddy Cage along the way. His newest release is Blues in Winter which features Bob Dylan’s long time musical director Tony Garnier on upright bass on a tune with a narrative poem written by original Rolling Stone Brian Jones . He also published  a book of poetry with Oyster Bay Books called Evolove which garnered good reviews including Thomas Pynchon and George Plimpton. This is John’s second performance at the Falcon having opened for The Blues Project previously . John originally shared the bill with Richard Lloyd at CBGB’S  back in the day. This marks a return to form . He describes his music quoting Prince - “ Inspirational”.

Opening Act: Bibi Farber

Bibi Farber is very excited to be part of the line up on April 4th at The Falcon! She’s a performing songwriter from NYC with a passion for melodic, imaginative pop music. She spent years in several notable rock bands, including 4 years on rhythm guitar with Richard Lloyd. Lloyd produced and played guitar on Bibi’s first album Firepop, also featuring Dennis Diken (Smithereens), Ira Elliot (Nada Surf), Joe McGinty (Losers Lounge) Peter Stuart and Jane Scarpantoni. Bibi’s original songs have been used in over 300 times in TV shows (Cable, Network and PBS) as well as online (A&E promo for The Sopranos, Scrubs: Season Two, Popular (Disney) and commercials, including a national spot for Kodak. She has released three full length albums and several singles.

Tonight she is accompanied by bassist Rob Norris of The Bongos and Tulula! Over the years Rob has played in eclectic original projects with a constellation of luminaries: East Of Venus, Donovan, Glenn Mercer (Feelies), Damo Suzuki (Can), Garth Hudson (Band), Steve Holley (Wings), Lenny Kaye (Patti Smith Group), David Johansen (NY Dolls), Myra Melford (!), Carlos Alomar (Bowie), Marshall Crenshaw, Moby, and countless others.
